Easy colour for Poole print companies

A colour printer, the Xerox Colour Cube 9200 series MFP, is claimed to generate 90% less waste. This will clearly be of interest to printing companies in and around Poole in Dorset. Poole based Info-Tech Distribution Ltd. could arrange to supply one.
So how does it achieve this? The main difference is that it does not use ink cartridges or toners, it uses solid colour blocks. Ink sticks are loaded via a cradle and can be topped up at any time. The ink sticks are high mileage and colour will not surface bleed, regardless of the type of stock being printed, and the kit will print up to A3.
What are the main Green credentials? Hardly any waste from ink sticks, therefore small amount of recyclable packaging, and reduced paper usage due to automatic two sided printing, plus no stain non toxic ink. It also has an Energy Star rating, thus confirming very low energy consumption.
Many customers in Poole are now much more aware of Green issues. They would be much happier knowing their order was fulfilled with a low carbon foot print. This piece of hardware may present the way forward for the new generation of dry printing.
Economies of scale definitely come in to play here. The use of this piece of equipment would mean not having to replace ink cartridges or toner regularly. The ability to top up colour, even during a print run, would be a great asset to innovative printing companies in Pool.
