Point of sale printing in Norwich helps winner of ‘Supplier of the Year’ award

Rigeons Builders’ Merchant recently announced the Keystone Group as the overall winners of their coveted ‘Supplier of the Year’ awards at a prestigious event held in Norwich.
The awards ceremony is voted for by the staff at branches of Rigeons and each supplier is marked on their performance in five key areas; including quality of product, management of stock, support after a sale is made, customer service and – interestingly – the quality of marketing literature and point of sale communications.
These awards criteria highlighted the increasing need for firms to invest in their advertising and communications strategy. This often does not need to result in large budgets being spent or using national companies to work on campaigns. Careful thought about who carries out certain parts of the marketing process can make all the difference. For example, local companies offering point of sale printing in Norwich could offer local insight and bespoke services without eating away at a firm’s marketing budget.
The Rigeons awards embody the spirit of working in partnership with local companies and the theme for this year’s awards ceremony was ‘What can we do in partnership to grow our businesses?’ which highlights the need for suppliers and builders to work together with local companies to help strengthen business relationships and help the local economy.
The awards succeeded in bringing local businesses together to discuss marketing and service strategies and resulted in 700 meetings at the event which featured 42 suppliers and 57 employees of Rigeons.
