Wind farm activists could use printing companies in Lutterworth for future campaigns
December 30, 2010 by Gareth
The planning committee at Daventry District Council recently rejected plans for a wind farm near Lutterworth, after being petitioned by the activist group, Stop Kelmarsh Wind Farm. Members of the group wrote over a thousand letters of protest about the wind farm, claiming that this would affect the quality of life of Lutterworth residents. However, the energy company Eon, who proposed the plans for the wind farm, plan to appeal against the Council’s decision.
This could mean that Stop Kelmarsh Wind Farm continue to protest against the plans and could see them turning to local printing companies in Lutterworth to produce material to support their campaign. Local companies who offer services like
banner printing in Lutterworth could be called upon to produce banners that clearly display messages that show the disadvantages to having the wind farm located so close to where people live.
Using a local print company in Lutterworth rather than one that is based nationally or on the internet has its advantages. For example, local firms offering banner
printing in Lutterworth are based in the town itself which makes collecting finished print jobs simple. The face-to-face nature of local
print companies in Lutterworth helps to ensure that all
printing meets the needs of the customer due to the fact that customers can simply call into a local print shop and talk through their requirements with the very people who will be carrying out the
banner printing. Lutterworth residents can expect a high quality service and finish when using local
print companies in Lutterworth.
