Lutterworth town centre received a visit from a Dragon, a Princess and a Knight last weekend as part of a promotional event to attract residents to the Saint George’s day celebrations in Leicester on the 23rd April.
The trio of cultural figures visited Lutterworth to give local people a flavour of what they could experience if they visit Leicester’s cultural quarter over the Easter weekend. A number of events will be held in the city, including a parade of princesses, traditional maypole dancing with a chance to take part in lessons and live music. The Curve Theatre will play host to some events, with others being held in the area around the theatre.
As well as promoting the Saint George’s day festivities using the presence of Saint George, the Dragon and the Princess, local authorities could have also used companies who offer services like poster or flyer printing in Lutterworth to give residents more detailed information on what will be on offer at the celebrations in Leicester this weekend.
Flyer printing has helped Lutterworth’s local authorities to promote other events in the past and this eye-catching and attention-grabbing way of doing this has a proven track record of raising the awareness of local events.
With an engaging communication strategy, like the live event held last weekend coupled with printed advertising material, the Saint George’s Day celebrations in Leicester should receive a large number of visitors.
