Louise Redknapp to front Schwarzkopf campaign
December 14, 2011 by Michael
Louise Redknapp is due to become the face of Schwarzkopf’s home hair colour range as part of a campaign that will see her image used in PR, press ads, social media and pos printing.
Liverpool may once have been a familiar place to Louise when husband Jamie Redknapp played for Liverpool FC, but the couple has since moved elsewhere, settling in Sandbanks in Dorset. However, this new modelling job may seem Louise travelling for photo shoots or public appearances. Louise follows in the footsteps of fellow celebrities Emma Bunton and Holly Valance who have both previously fronted advertising and marketing campaigns for Schwarzkopf. The campaign is due to run throughout 2012.
Schwarzkopf’s head of marketing, Ben Haxworth, commented on the appointment of Louise, by saying:
“Louise is the perfect ambassador for LIVE Salon Style, a range designed for busy women who need to be able to achieve salon-like results in their own time and their own home. She combines true sophistication with on-trend styling and, despite all her years at the top, also radiates a warm and down-to-earth persona. Her role as both professional career women and busy mum is definitely one that women can relate to and are inspired by.”
By using Louise as a brand asset across the Schwarzkopf range, the company can expect to see the brand presence become elevated and celebrity endorsement is known to help reach new groups of consumers who may not have previously chosen that brand. By featuring Louise on press ads, digital activity and on pos printing, Schwarzkopf will be expecting some positive sales results.
