Kings Lynn campaign for superfast broadband

There are a range of printing companies in Kings Lynn, for example brochure printers or litho printers. Many print firms in the area now operate on-demand digital print services via online ordering. Their online business would benefit from a superfast broadband connection, as would the customer experience.
West Norfolk Borough Council has launched a campaign to bring super-fast broadband to the area, which is good news for print companies in Kings Lynn. The council are asking broadband users to register their interest in superfast in order to show service providers that there is a ready market for the service in the area.
If successful, users could look forwards to receiving broadband speeds of up to 40 Megabits per second with the majority of people benefitting from speeds of at least 15 Megabits per second and upload speeds of about 10 Megabits per second – plus a more consistent and reliable connection.
The council say the way in which people are accessing services and information is changing rapidly. We need to make sure that West Norfolk is not left behind. They have been working with the West Norfolk Partnership to lobby providers of superfast broadband but say that lobbying alone is not enough. They have launched an online campaign called ‘fasterfuture’ which gives users an opportunity to register their interest.
If you think this would be of benefit for your printing company in Kings Lynn you should register your interest on their website. The more people that register increases the likelihood of the superfast service becoming a reality.
