Balloch and Loch Lomond Ideal Getaway Destination

July 13, 2017 by

VisitScotland has revealed in a recent survey that around Balloch and Loch Lomond in general, nearly a half of all visitors last year saw it as an ideal getaway destination.  The favourable results came from a survey of close to 400 people and whilst almost half sounds like less than maybe expected, it is actually well over the average for all locations in Scotland.

Not surprisingly the number reason for coming to the area was the scenery and landscape – with over three quarters saying that and another great figure is that four out of ten are eager to return.  The town and the wider area offer a huge range of activities to cater for a massive spectrum of tastes, from the hills to the water based activities to the shops to the food sector too.  It is believed that around 2 million people visit the area every year, bringing in a massive £400m+ in cash.

For local business owners, whether they are providing accommodation , food, gifts/goods or activities, getting your business noticed by some of these visitors is vital – this is where using a local printer can pay dividends as they can produce suitable leaflets detailing what is on offer.
