Scottish Natural Heritage promote outdoors

Companies offering poster printing in Glasgow may find themselves with some business as the Scottish Natural Heritage looks to roll out an extensive outdoor advertising campaign across the Glasgow Underground.
The campaign has been created by The Leith creative agency, who was briefed to look at how the Scottish Natural Heritage could encourage more people to enjoy the great Scotland outdoors.
The campaign is called ‘Enjoy the Outdoors’ and will run across the Glasgow Underground for several weeks on escalator panel posters, wall posters, floor media vinyl and cross track posters. The campaign will be supported extensively by other printed media formats such as bus rears and BT telephone boxes across the city.
The Scottish Natural Heritage will also be doing some printing of local leaflets in order to distribute them to people to promote routes to explore around Glasgow. The leaflets will be distributed by being placed in supermarkets and visitor centres to take advantage of the high footfalls and they will also send them to other partner organisations that will help promote the great outdoors.
In conjunction with the local newspaper, the Glasgow Evening Times, the leaflet will also be distributed as an inset to their readers with up to 75,000 copies therefore able to promote the trips that are accessible around the city, such as a guided ranger walk which takes walkers along the River Clyde.
The Scottish Natural Heritage organisation has not forgotten the power of online media with a Facebook page also being set up to allow users to share their tips on the best ways to enjoy the outdoors.
