Tayburn, the design consultancy with its head quarters in Scotland, has been awarded the Design Grand Prix at this year’s Scottish Design Awards. The Edinburgh based agency specialises in corporate brand identities and product brand packaging and beat off fierce competition from hundreds of other entries in the Scottish Design Awards to secure the top graphic design award in this year’s competition, winning the award for its stationery design for a local Doctor.
Tayburn secured their prize for their work for Doctor Thomas Shaw on their Ace of Hearts stationery design. Creating a new visual identity for a company involves research into their target market to create a logo, colour palette or text that will reflect the values of the brand and convey them to their target audience.
Your company brand identity needs to be maintained throughout all your marketing efforts, such as advertising, but includes your stationery as this is often the first chance that potential business will have to get a first impression of your company. High quality printed and professionally designed stationery really can aid companies in standing out from their competition and make the company memorable and recognisable to their clients and their suppliers. This covers all the range of stationery efforts, including their letter headed paper, comp slips and most importantly, the company business cards.
There are stationery printers in Falkirk that can offer very cost effective and efficient services for businesses in the area looking to extend a new brand identity through their marketing materials, including company stationery.
