Print companies benefit as Falkirk named most enterprising city in Scotland

Falkirk was recently named as the most enterprising city in Scotland by Enterprise Britain. This is great news for local residents who have struggled to find work in recent years due to the decline of the petrochemical industry. Initiatives are being set up to include the construction of new business parks and the council is encouraging local businesses to partner together to make the current economic situation work for them.
This award confirms that local businesses are flourishing and print companies in Falkirk are one type of business that is beginning to see the benefits of this. New businesses starting up mean increased demand for print advertising and services like flyer printing to promote their goods or expertise. These promotional materials generate extra custom or increased demand and so Falkirk residents are successfully finding work thanks to this.
Falkirk council recently enjoyed a visit from Peter Jones of Dragons’ Den fame who presented the award for most enterprising city in Scotland, and this seems to have boosted local morale and raised the profile of the award. Businesses from neighbouring areas are now looking to move into Falkirk thanks to its initiatives for companies relocating to the area and the fact that the city is already a rich source of established service providers who can support their business strategies, including printing companies. Falkirk is booming in terms of business and this trend looks set to continue for the near future.
