New advertising campaign featuring broadcast, online and digital printing for Edinburgh Zoo
February 20, 2011 by Michael
Edinburgh Zoo recently announced plans for a new nation-wide advertising campaign which is set to cover all aspects of communication including broadcast, direct mail, online and press advertisements that use digital printing. Edinburgh Zoo hopes that the new advertising campaign will appeal to a range of target markets and that it will attract new visitors to the zoo. The Zoo has appointed a Newcastle-based advertising agency, Cravens, to oversee the advertising campaign. Whilst larger organisations in Edinburgh may benefit from using national agencies to execute their advertising strategy, smaller local businesses often use local print companies in Edinburgh to help support their promotional activity. For example, local businesses use printing companies to provide services such as catalogue, leaflet, poster and even POS printing. Edinburgh residents have historically been keen to support local businesses and by using a local printing company in Edinburgh, the right message will be sent out to potential customers that your organisation is supporting the local economy.
The Edinburgh Zoo advertising campaign will be run throughout the rest of the UK as well as throughout Scotland and it is thought that by using several different channels to connect with customers, their message will be strengthened. Many companies have recently focused their advertising budgets on digital communication but it is important to recognise that a strong print-led call to action is the element that will essentially drive customers to engage with online mechanisms. Information created by using poster or POS printing services lets Edinburgh businesses really connect with their customers.
