Urban village plans could see demand increase for digital printing

Dunfermline is set to undergo a major transformation following the proposal for plans for an ‘urban village’ to be built in the city centre. The city has been in need of a new lease of life for a while now and the urban village could be just the boost it needs. The development will be made up of homes, leisure space, retail units and a hotel, all of which will bring much-needed jobs to the area. Local print companies in Dunfermline are hoping to play a significant part in this development by helping the developers convey the benefits of the site to local residents via the medium of digital printing. Dunfermline residents have been largely supportive of this move although there are a few that may still be undecided as to whether this is the right thing to do for the city. By using digital printing services, Dunfermline urban village’s developers can communicate with local residents via posters, flyers or brochures to extoll the virtues that the site will bring to the area.
The urban village development in Dunfermline is being encouraged by members of local authorities as it is hoped that the centre will help the city to shake off the shadow of unemployment and recession that has stood over the region over recent months. Despite recent government announcements that the economy is not growing as much as had been hoped, Dunfermline residents remain optimistic that the urban village development will go ahead and with the right kind of promotions done using digital printing, this Dunfermline venture will be a success.
