Demand for colour printing increases

A US-based report has suggested that the demand for colour printing is on the up and this means print shops in Croydon and the rest of the UK can pass savings onto customers as well as making a profit from full colour printing.
Croydon printing companies and others like them across the country could soon be following the footsteps of their American counterparts as market trends show an increased demand for colour printing. According to the report, 47 per cent of printed documents now contain colour and this is on the increase.
The report also showed other interesting findings. Clients and companies of all sizes use print shops and there is a direct relationship between the size of a company and the amount of colour printing that that company requires. The report showed that the bigger the company, the more they utilise colour in their printed communications and marketing teams and departments are found to be the biggest users of colour printing.
It is not just promotional items that are getting the colour treatment. Forms that require action, such as application forms, are now being printed in colour which is thought to improve on response rates and overall effectiveness.
Due to the fact that documents that have traditionally been created using black and white printing are now being printed in colour means that printing companies are seeing an increase in profits. This is good news as the current tough economic climate has been hard on many industries including the printing industry, so any increase in business is welcomed.
