August 9, 2010 by Lyndon
Print companies in Crewe will have been busy as the Nantwich and South Cheshire Show began and plans were revealed for a new look and feel for the Nantwich Food and Drink Festival. A promotional stand was set up at the Nantwich Show by volunteers who worked on behalf of the Nantwich Food and Drink Festival to give all the attendees a taste of what to expect when the next large event in area comes to town. Hundreds of leaflets were distributed by the team of volunteers to visitors to the Nantwich Show, giving details that outlined the new plans for the Nantwich Food and Drink Festival and outlined the packed programme that potential attendees could expect.
The leaflets detailed that the Food and Drink Festival were free which will have come as welcome news to all recipients. Most will have been pleased to hear that the new look festival was going ahead and volunteers felt that the result was an overwhelmingly positive response to the news of this family event. The Food and Drink Festival will display over 2,000 products for visitors to sample including beer and wine tastings and an array of gourmet foods that have been produced in the region. The Festival will be spread across the area including inside and outside Nantwich Civic Hall, on the town square, Volunteer Fields and Methodist Church and White Swan car parks. The stands will be available for all to sample from on the weekend of the 24th – 26th September.
