Print companies in Coventry ready for economic boost from Jaguar Land Rover

Printing companies in Coventry are welcoming a new expansion plan by Jaguar Land Rover which is set to create over 1,500 new jobs at its Halewood base. This expansion follows a year of positive results for the company and the new job count is set to include 1,000 engineers. As well as recruiting engineers, new office staff will also be needed, which in turn count generate business for companies offering services like stationery printing. Coventry has seen its fair share of new business start-ups over the years and new offices have long since sourced stationery, business cards and other office printed materials from local printing companies. Coventry has a long history of being a hub for the motor business and after years of frustration perpetuated by the economic downturn, local authorities are seeing Jaguar Land Rover’s plans as the proverbial light at the end of the tunnel and hope it will bring a boost for other companies in the region.
In addition to Jaguar Land Rover’s expansion, Coventry City Council also supports a number of business initiatives designed to stimulate the local economy. The council’s dedicated Investment and Business Team collaborated with local firms to ensure they are getting the support they need to prosper. This could be anything from advising them on business deals to providing recommendations for where to obtain supplies. As with the Jaguar Land Rover expansion, local companies offering services like business cards are often recommended as an alternative to online print companies as they help to support the local economy.
