Sainsbury’s Halloween tie-in with Scooby Doo

Supermarket retailer Sainsbury’s has joined forces with Warner Bros. to feature characters from the spooky cartoon Scooby Doo for their Halloween Print company in pos printing printing services pos printing.

Halloween has become big business in the UK, with some retail experts estimating that it is now the third biggest ‘holiday’ occasion in the calendar, behind Christmas and Easter. It has been suggested that it has replaced Valentine’s day in terms of retail spend and experts are predicting that spending on Halloween-themed goods will exceed £315m, which is a 12.5% increase on last year.

The campaign has run throughout the lead-up to Halloween and will give way to Sainsbury’s Christmas campaigns. Sarah Bird is the Marketing Director for Warner Bros Home Video. She recently told Marketing Week:
