A Coatbridge-based business centre has been playing its part in the first ever Lanarkshire business week by hosting a series of business seminars.
Lanarkshire Business Week runs from 27th February to Friday 2nd March and is designed to promote business networking and entrepreneurial spirit within the region. The event features a packed schedule of seminars, workshops and networking opportunities that will run at various venues throughout the region.
It is essential that anyone attending these events with networking on their agenda should take a set of digital business cards. Coatbridge’s Atrium Business Centre is hosting a number of sessions which promise lots of chances to exchange business cards and make contacts. Those people who are attending that do not have business cards already should consider using a local print shop in Coatbridge to create their cards using business card printing.
Coatbridge’s Atrium Business Centre is hosting seminars that will cover all manner of topics, from social networking to business development. The deputy chief executive of Business Gateway Lanarkshire, Marian Gardiner, spoke about Lanarkshire Business week, saying:
“They will not only provide access to skills and information, but also the opportunity to meet with like-minded businesses to increase networks.”
This is the first time that the event has run, and if it is successful there are plans in place to roll it out and make it into an annual event. For more information about the events on offer, visit Lanarkshire Business Week’s website.
