The chain of upmarket burger outlets Byron has announced that it will be launching its very first Welsh branch during the summer of this year, with Print company in Cardiff printing services Cardiff being the chosen site for this.

This new restaurant will be on two floors and it is set to be located within the Grand Arcade section of the St David’s Centre. The owner of this is the St David’s Partnership, which is a collaborative venture between Intu and Land Securities.

The centre is already home to a number of top brand name outlets, including Wahaca, Wagamama and Jamie’s Italian. In total, the centre houses approximately 200 restaurants and shops, making it a central part of the economy of Cardiff.

Byron marketing director, Paul Coppin, told The Caterer that the chain was delighted to be able to bring its burgers to the people of Cardiff and added that the company had been asked on a number of occasions if it would open a branch there, making it a pleasure to at last be able to do so.

Intu’s regional director, Colin Flinn, added:

“This offer is an excellent addition that sits well alongside the casual dining on Tredegar Street and the Print company in Hayes printing services Hayes, whilst also benefiting from the close proximity to the main events venue in Cardiff.”

Print company in Leaflet printing printing services Leaflet printing could be used as a way of promoting the restaurant when it opens.
