Tickets are now on sale for Basingstoke’s fireworks event; the Mayor’s Charity Firework Fiesta.
The Fireworks Fiesta takes place in Basingstoke’s memorial park and is to be held this year on bonfire night, Saturday 5th November. Tickets must be purchased for the event and the organisers expect this event to be extremely popular and so are urging people to get in early. Tickets are available from Basingstoke Council’s website and this site also features information about attractions, parking and safety information.
Many organisations step up their campaign activity to raise awareness of fire safety in the run up to bonfire night. For example, London Fire Brigade has an entire section of their website dedicated to bonfire and fireworks safety. Some fire stations around the UK will display high-visibility messaging about the dangers that come with bonfire night. Most of these will be produced using banner printing.
Basingstoke’s fireworks event is expected to attract many visitors and as it is an event organised by professionals, it promises to be safe and any risks associated with fireworks will be minimised. To further elevate the safety of the event, organisers have asked attendees not to bring along any sparklers.
The Mayor’s Fireworks Fiesta will feature a host of entertainment, including broadcasts from the local radio station, Kestrel FM. There will also be a fun fair on site, with something for the whole family to enjoy. The event opens at 6pm with the fireworks display commencing at 7:30pm.
