Family prints posters to find missing pet
January 5, 2012 by Gareth
A family have launched a search for a missing pet by creating their own tailor-made posters urging anyone who spots their missing cat to get in touch.
The Smith Family, from Morpeth in Northumberland, spoke to the Morpeth Herald, saying that their cat went missing on New Year’s Eve. The poster has been created using full colour printing and features an image of their cat, Tom, along with their contact details. This tried-and-tested method of finding lost pets often yields positive results, proving the effectiveness of communications created using
poster printing.
The Aberdeen Central branch of the national Cats Protection organisation may be too far to help find Tom, but this organisation has seen this kind of activity many times before. Cats Protection Aberdeen Central works to re-home lost or abandoned cats, as well as giving owners advice on how to care for them. If the organisation were to find a lost cat like Tom, they would work to find a new home for him if they were unable to link him to his original owners.
By publicising their lost pet using poster printing, the Smith family will have more of a chance of being reunited with their cat. If an organisation like Cats Protection were to come across the pet, they would be able to contact the Smith family thanks to the posters. Many local
printing companies can offer full colour
printing services for posters, helping owners to find their lost pets.
